  1. General Manuscript Structure and Formatting
  • Article Information: The manuscript must include the submission history (Submitted, Revised, Accepted) and the corresponding author's contact information, including their email address.
  • Copyright and Licensing: Manuscripts are submitted for possible open-access publication under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license. Copyright remains with the authors (e.g., © 2026 by the authors).
  • Heading Hierarchy: The separation between main headings, sub-headings, and sub-sub-headings should be clearly numbered within the manuscript (e.g., Sub-sub heading, Sub Sub Sub heading).
  1. Title and Authorship
  • Title Length: The title must consist of exactly 12 words, no more and no less.
  • Title Formatting: Titles must be provided in both English and Indonesian. The text must be formatted in bold, Cambria font, 14 pt.
  • Authorship: Include the names of the primary and secondary authors. Author affiliations and their respective countries must be clearly stated.
  1. Abstract and Keywords
  • Abstract Formatting: Abstracts must be provided in both English and Indonesian, formatted in Cambria font, 10 pt, single-spaced, and justified.
  • Abstract Content: The abstract must not exceed 150 words. It must contain the background of the problem, the urgency of the research or writing, research methods, important research results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords Length: As explicitly required, the keywords section must contain exactly 150 words, no more and no less.
  • Keywords Formatting: Keywords must be provided in both English and Indonesian, formatted in Cambria font, 9 pt, and italicized. They must be separated by semicolons (;), arranged alphabetically, and end with a period (.).
  1. Main Body Content

Introduction (Background)

  • Formatting: Use Cambria font, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, and justified alignment. The first paragraph must be indented by 1 cm, and there should be no spaces before or after paragraphs.
  • Content: This section must elaborate on the reasons for conducting the research, relevant theoretical studies, literature reviews, or conceptual critical ideas. It should also review judicial decisions if relevant.
  • Literature Review: Authors must outline 3–5 previous research studies, explicitly stating the differences between previous works and the current article to highlight the research novelty.
  • Conclusion of Introduction: The background section must conclude with a brief explanation of the research findings.

Problem Formulation

  • Formatting: Follow the same formatting rules as the Introduction (Cambria 12 pt, justified, 1.5 spacing, 1 cm indent, no spaces between paragraphs).
  • Content: Formulate the problem in the form of specific questions or descriptive paragraphs. This formulation will serve as the core line of thought discussed in subsequent sections.

Research Method

  • Application: This section is optional and is generally reserved for original research articles.
  • Content: Written in a descriptive style, it must provide a clear statement regarding the methodology to give the reader a comprehensive idea of the methods utilized.

Discussion and Analysis

  • Formatting: Follow standard body text formatting (Cambria 12 pt, justified, 1.5 spacing, 1 cm indent, no spaces between paragraphs).
  • Content: Describe the research results and discussion sequentially based on the core legal issues of the study.
  • Systematization: The structure of the results and discussion must directly address the research problem formulation. Theories mentioned in the theoretical framework must be properly cited in this section.
  • Visual Elements: The text may be supplemented with supporting figures, graphs, or tables.
  1. Tables and Figures
  • Quality: Tables and figures must be clearly readable and maintain a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) to ensure high print quality.
  • Table Design: Tables must be constructed using an "open model" design, meaning they should not contain vertical lines.
  1. Conclusion
  • Format: The conclusion must be written in paragraph form and strictly limited to a maximum length of 4 sentences.
  • Content: It must cleanly and concisely answer the objectives of the research.
  • Restrictions: Do not merely repeat the abstract or provide a simple summary of the research results. Instead, authors should provide clear explanations regarding the possible applications of the findings or practical suggestions.
  1. Citations and References
  • Citation Style: All citations within the manuscript must be formatted as footnotes (full note) utilizing the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition.
  • Reference Manager: Authors are required to use Mendeley Reference Manager for all citations and bibliography generation.
  • Bibliography Formatting: The reference list must be arranged alphabetically by the author's last name.

 

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
