Journal of State Public Policy (JSPP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published tri-annually (three times per year).

Rolling Submission Policy

JSPP accepts submissions on a continuous basis throughout the year. Manuscripts are processed as they are received. Once a manuscript has been peer-reviewed and accepted, it will be copyedited and formatted for the next available issue.

Online First Publication

To ensure the timely dissemination of research, JSPP may adopt an "Online First" policy. Accepted articles that have completed the production process may be published online individually before the full issue is formally released in April, August, or December. This ensures that authors’ work is citable (with a DOI) as soon as it is ready.
